YIT is the largest Finnish and most significant North European construction company. In Denmark, YIT handles all tasks within the production and laying of asphalt, maintenance of roads and special tasks with eg. bridges and industrial floors. With 7 asphalt factories and 6 offices across the country, YIT employs approx. 300 employees.

YIT aims to offer more and more services and solutions within residential and commercial buildings, renovation projects, infrastructure construction and road surfaces. The Danish Division is particularly strong in implementing demanding urban and regional development projects that combine their competencies in many areas.

In collaboration with the organization’s top management, your job will be to develop a strategic HR agenda that supports the company’s overall objectives. You will be responsible for HR in YIT DK, including particular areas such as development, HR projects and processes as well as management and training. In addition, you act as the personal assistant for the CEO. Since YIT employs both blue and white collared employees, a main area of responsibility is to negotiate contracts and cooperate with labor unions. Therefore, it is an advantage to be updated on and experienced with relevant personnel/staff law.

We expect that you are an experienced HR professional with a relevant master’s degree. You possess strong communicative skills in order to communicate YIT’s HR policies in a sufficient and effective way throughout the organization. Thus, strong implementation and change management skills are valued. You might come from a medium sized company with a full value chain and be part of a management team in a business unit as well. Lastly, you thrive in a competitive and sometimes harsh environment and you are able to preserve focus and handle conflict situations.

On a personal level you are ambitious, structured, and you can handle many tasks at the same time. It is of great importance that you deliver good quality in the tasks, even when it goes fast. Also, it is important that you appear trustworthy in your leadership style and have a grounded personality that enables you to lead others.
